This patient came to see Dr Hasson when he was visiting Rome, Italy as part of Hasson & Wong’s regular hair transplant consultations here. The patient in his late twenties at the time was concerned about his thinning frontal area and how styling his hair was becoming increasingly difficult. Fed up with having to wear his hair so long to cover his thinning hairline and temples he decided it was time to do something about it. During the consultation, Dr Hasson assessed him as having medium texture hair, average density and above average scalp laxity. He also recommended that he start Propecia before surgery.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”15px”][vc_gallery interval=”10″ images=”3217,3219,3218,3220,3221″ img_size=”full”][vc_column_text c_id=”.vc_1439406661261″]When the patient flew in from Italy to Vancouver the following year for his hair transplant surgery, he had taken Dr Hasson’s recommendation and started the medication. Dr Hasson used 4179 grafts in one session with the FUT method to restore the hairline and frontal area. As common in these cases Dr Hasson dense packed the patient’s hairline with single hair grafts and placed the larger 2 and 3 hairs grafts further back into the scalp.

The patient wished to be able to brush his hair back and expose his hairline and his wishes were answered once the full result was seen here at 1 year. With the lateral slit technique that Dr Hasson excels at natural hairlines that no one would look twice at are possible.

When Dr Hasson visited Rome the following year the patient was very happy to show his incredible results to him in person.
