Hasson and Wong have had a Seattle consultation office since the early 2000’s. To expand their reach in the early years and to give Seattle area patients a better alternative to the less than ideal options locally, the Seattle office was developed to educate patients on what might be possible as far as achieving their hair restoration goals. Patients would come to the Seattle office for evaluation before heading up to the surgery center in Vancouver to have their hair restoration procedures. The Internet was becoming a good source for research and some of our patients we’re sharing their thoughts online about their Hasson and Wong experience. We encouraged this and felt that when a patient could see a good result and relate to another patient’s experience, it was much more powerful than having a sales guy tell him how good a doctor is. If a patient could see firsthand or through detailed online photos and descriptions that the outcome of the procedure was impressive, it would be more believable and compelling. As word got out that doctors Hasson and Wong were producing above average results, the clinic was getting busier with patients from Seattle and surrounding areas. Doug Kline was brought on in 2002 initially in the Seattle office and later split his time in Seattle and at the clinic in Vancouver. Eventually he would establish his roots for many years in Vancouver gaining a vast amount of knowledge concerning hair restoration and the groundbreaking technology Hasson and Wong had developed. He would educate patients, explain the process and help illustrate what type of result a patient could expect. This was necessary as the doctors were increasingly busy in surgery and had less time to adequately explain the procedure to prospective patients themselves. After 15 years of working at the clinic, he is now back in Seattle with his 20 years plus of experience in the industry, all at Hasson and Wong. There is not much he hasn’t seen in all those years when it comes to hair transplants, good and bad. While he is obviously biased towards doctors Hasson and Wong, he also feels compelled to help any patient who reaches out to Hasson and Wong to avoid the similar mistakes and bad choices of the many patients who have gone before them. Many of Hasson and Wong’s early internet success stories were of those who had been transformed by a surgery at our clinic taking them from a balding patient with an obvious and bad hair transplant to a patient with a natural looking nice head of hair. With the amount of information available today, there is no excuse in not educating yourself and doing the proper research enabling you to make an informed decision.
