FUE Hair Transplant Timeline
This patient in his early 40’s from Ireland was very particular about how he wanted his new hairline. Accepting nothing less than the best, he looked to Hasson and Wong as his choice to be able to achieve his goals. His smart research led him to us and in fact when a friend wanted to consider another lesser clinic, he urged him to reconsider based on his findings. Seeing that we also occasionally have consultations in London, he booked a visit with one of our advisors Thomas to learn more about what could be accomplished. After meeting with Thomas and further correspondence with Doug, he was very reassured about his choice which as you can see based on his reviews, exceeded his expectations. His hairline had been receding very slowly over the years becoming a little harder to disguise through creative styling. He felt it was finally time to take some corrective action now that would serve him well for many years to come. Upon his arrival to the clinic, he and Dr. Hasson decided on the design of the hairline that he wanted and that something in the 2,500 graft range or slightly more would be required. At the end of the day, 2717 grafts using the FUE method of extraction were needed to rebuild his hairline and seamlessly blend into some of the existing hair in the frontal zone. Experiencing no issues now of trying to style his hair to hide the weakness, the positive impact on his appearance is quite apparent based on his 6 month post-op photos. Pre-Op Hairline
One Week Post-Op Hair Line
I took these Thursday morning (a week after my procedure). As you can see, I can hide my front by having hair pulled over. The donor area is healed completely and scabs etc. are all but gone from recipient area after following hair washing instructions.
Two Week Post-Op Hair Line
Two weeks in. All going well. I’ve returned to work since last week. No one has noticed what I’ve had done. I’ve had the odd comment that my hair is a bit shorter than normal. All areas are healed really well with no discomfort or pain. My scalp etc is back to Pre op. Shedding has started, not noticeable yet but I’ve seen a few short hairs fall in the last day or two.
One Month Post-Op Hair Line
One month update. As you can see redness is disappearing, albeit very slowly because I’m so fair skinned. Most of the transplanted hair has fallen out/shed. The donor area has grown back and with another week or two growth will be as full as before the procedure. I’m pretty confident not wearing a hat over the last week or so and no one has noticed exactly what has been done. So I look forward to the coming months and hope for strong regrowth!
Three Months Post-Op Hair Line
3 months in, I hope this is good progress at this stage. I look forward to the next few months. There has been good growth albeit thin. I can see small hairs appearing beneath the longer more advanced hair. Some small patches don’t show any evidence of growth yet but I presume this will start in time.
Five Months Post-Op Hair Line
I’m really happy so far, I got my hair cut since these five month photos were taken and it actually looks even thicker and better now than in the photos. I can also really see the cosmetic impact taking shape and if it improves as much over the next three months as it has over the past few, it will be a fabulous result. I’m thrilled I went ahead with the procedure. I know you might find this hard to believe but not one person noticed I had the procedure. I wore a hat and was careful to avoid a few social occasions afterwards but not even my closest family know. I’m actually quite chuffed to have a secret of my own!!
Six Months Post-Op Hair Line
These are 6 month pictures. Seems like it’s improving all the time and starting to really look great to me. I’m thrilled to be honest. I’m just so happy I decided to do it. Well worth every bit. It still rates as my best customer/healthcare experience ever. Hats off to Hasson and Wong.
Seven Months Post-Op Hair Line
7 months post-op now and things continue to look better every week! I find myself getting up in the morning and going to the mirror first thing to marvel at my new hairline. Friends and colleagues are telling me how good I look but they don’t know it’s the hair!
