The following photos are of a hair transplant patient from Vancouver. This patient is in his early 30’s. In his initial consultation with Dr. Hasson, he expressed that his hair restoration goals were to restore his temple recession, thicken his hairline in the forelock area and improve the appearance of his crown. During a single hair transplant surgery, Dr. Hasson transplanted 3068 grafts via FUT (Follicular Unit Extraction) method to achieve his hair restoration goals. This patient was assessed by Dr. Hasson as a Norwood 4 with possible progression to a 5 or even 6 and medication was recommended. The patient started Proscar immediately after hair transplant surgery.
This patient has medium textured hair, above average hair density in the donor zone and excellent scalp laxity making him a very good candidate for hair transplant surgery. The hairline grafts were dense packed in the immediate hairline and temples to provide stronger framing to this patients face providing him with the ability to style his hair as he pleases.
The patient dropped by the clinic 20 months after surgery and was very happy with his hair transplant results and was kind enough to allow us to use them on the website to help others with a similar pattern of hair loss that might be considering this type of hair transplant surgery. 948 single hairs, 1895 double hairs and 225 multi hair grafts were used in total in total.
