Surgery by: Dr. Hasson
Surgery Type: FUE
Norwood Scale: 5A
Number of Grafts: 4,210
This Vancouver-area patient in his early 30’s approached Hasson & Wong in order to address his receding hairline and weak frontal zone. He started losing his hair around the age of 25, and quickly progressed to a Stage 4 on the Norwood Hair Loss Scale. He had good, relatively dense donor hair with a texture on the finer side. His scalp was fairly tight, which made him a suitable candidate for the FUE extraction technique.
Dr. Hasson and his team managed to harvest 4210 grafts via FUE over the course of 2 days. These grafts were transplanted into the front 1/3 of the patient’s scalp – rebuilding his hairline and frontal zone. 597 of these grafts were singles, 2692 were doubles and 921 were 3-4-hair grafts. These photographs were taken approximately 1-year post-op.
