3004 Grafts Fue

This Local Vancouver patient was suffering from hair loss that began at the age of 25. Hair loss runs in his family with many suffering a similar loss pattern specially affecting mostly the crown. A visit to his Dermatologist to seek advice regarding his hair loss revealed a hair restoration procedure to restore the crown would be the only good answer and it was recommended he check out Hasson and Wong. Listening to the advice, this patient met with Dr. Hasson and was told he had above average donor hair with a manageable area to cover and was a good candidate for an FUE procedure at our clinic. Wanting as much coverage in the crown as possible, Dr. Hasson assured him that with a plan to use around 3000 grafts via FUE, his goals would be very achievable.

This procedure was done in one session totaling 3004 Grafts. 2105 double hair grafts along with 899 3-4 hair grafts were used. No single hair grafts are necessary for a crown reconstruction as they are only needed in the hairline to achieve the most natural result. Larger grafts (double hair or more) are more desirable for the crown achieving more volume in space and the desired result with fewer total grafts than might otherwise be needed using the FUT method of extraction.
